Which model should you choose?
Choose the DV3 if your priority is the Episode III design. The SE model is an alternative if you want a different Vader-inspired hilt, while the V2 offers another design to compare for pixel features. The EP6 model is the better starting point if you specifically want a Return of the Jedi–era version.
Electronics are another important distinction. RGB baselit is generally more practical for active handling when the blade is rated for it, while Xenopixel and Proffie configurations are better suited to visual effects, display, and light use. Confirm the current product selector and specifications before ordering because availability and options may change.
Why Choose the Darth Vader DV3 Hilt Replica?
The sinister, mechanical weapon of Darth Vader is instantly recognizable. Collectors can choose from many electrical options for the DV3 hilt, which is inspired by the character's Episode III appearance. The best configuration depends on your priorities: hilt, blade effects, sound, or customization.
A film-inspired design for collectors
The DV3 lightsaber is for Vader enthusiasts who prefer the prequel form. It looks robust and prop-like with its black-and-silver design and metal structure. If you want the Darth Vader Revenge of the Sith lightsaber appearance, compare the product photographs to the cinematic version you're collecting. Different Vader models can have comparable styling without being identical.
Electronics for different preferences
Xenopixel, Proffie, and RGB offer diverse experiences. RGB is simpler for baselit illumination. Proffie offers greater adjustability for technical customizers than Xenopixel, which allows animated pixel-blade effects.
If you desire animated ignition and in-blade lighting, try the Darth Vader Xenopixel lightsaber. Fans who desire greater blade style and sound control may like the Darth Vader Proffie lightsaber. Instead of thinking all board versions have the same impact, check the product page.
A red blade and a distinctive hilt
The Sith identity revolves around Vader's red blade. The Darth Vader black metal hilt lightsaber fits beautifully in a Sith or prequel display. When purchasing a Darth Vader Episode III collectible saber for a shelf or display cabinet, consider the hilt finish, proportions, and whether you want the blade fitted.
Choose according to intended use
For presentation and cosplay, animated lighting and sound may be key. Active handling requires checking the blade's impact rating and manufacturer directions. Pixel blades are preferable for display and light use; however, RGB baselit blades certified for fighting may be better for contact.
Check electronics, blade length, color, accessories, charging requirements, and warranty before purchase. The appropriate configuration is more crucial than paying for things you may never use.

What's the difference between the lightsaber versions?
There are 5 main types of lightsaber electronics:
- RGB-X & S-RGB – These sabers illuminate the blade from the hilt and are built for durability, making them ideal for heavy-duelling. They come with a Baselit blade, which has no LEDs inside and looks best in dark environments.
- Xenopixel V3 & SNV4 PRO – These lightsabers use Neopixel blades, which contain LEDs throughout the blade for brighter and more vibrant effects. They are not designed for heavy-duelling, but offer advanced visual effects and customisation.
- Proffie 2.2 – A highly customisable lightsaber that also comes with a Neopixel blade. It allows advanced users to modify sound fonts, blade effects, ignition styles, and more through open-source software, making it ideal for those who want full control over their lightsaber’s performance.
Can you duel with the lightsabers?
- RGB-X & S-RGB sabers with Baselit blades are designed for heavy-duelling.
- Xenopixel, SNV4 PRO, and Proffie 2.2 sabers with Neopixel blades are best suited for showcase and light-duelling but should not be used for intense combat.
For heavy-duelling, we recommend going with a thick neck saber so the blade is better supported and less likely to become wobbly or snap.
Do the lightsabers support Bluetooth connectivity?
- RGB-X and Xenopixel V3 support Bluetooth connectivity via the “XenoConfigurator” app on iOS and Android.
- S-RGB and SNV4 PRO support Bluetooth connectivity via the “ForcePark V2” app on iOS and Android.
- Proffie 2.2 does not have built-in Bluetooth functionality.
