The hilt is incredibly strong and is made of a sturdy aluminum alloy. Its modular design, which has several elements that can be disassembled, makes it easy to customize individually using different parts.
Please note that this offer only includes the empty hilt; it does not include any blade or electronics. To improve its appearance, our knowledgeable hilt specialist Tom from TS Creations has painstakingly applied mild weathering. Additionally, the hilt has a spherical port switch housing.
Unless otherwise noted, this item is often ready for shipping right away. In the event that a pre-order option is available, please allow up to four weeks for your saber to be customized before it is shipped.
It's crucial to remember that every pre-order is painstakingly made to your requirements. Because weathering, battle scarring, and acid etching are natural processes, your hilt may look somewhat different from the pictures.
Weathering, Etching and Battle Scarring
We have the option for your sabers to be weathered, etched or battle scarred.
For the weathering, this means that we take your hilt and make it look like it has had long exposure to the atmosphere, giving it a worn, run down look and a battle used kind of look.
With etching we add a stencil in the design you choose to protect your hilt and then use acid to remove the remaining metal giving a 3D textured pattern on your saber.
Battle scarring requires us to make cuts and gouges to your hilt to make it look like it has been used in combat and been hit by another saber.
Each process requires us to either sand parts of the hilt, add marks, scratches, dents or other battle like scars or by adding paints or chemicals to adjust the look of feel of the hilt.
