Manufacturing Defects

Replacement Before Refund

Refund Requests

Situations That Do Not Qualify for a Refund

  • The customer no longer requires the product.
  • The product was purchased for a birthday, holiday, convention, cosplay event, competition, gift, or other time-sensitive occasion and did not arrive before the desired date.
  • The customer selected the wrong product, color, model, electronics configuration, blade length, or accessories.
  • The customer failed to read the product description before ordering.
  • The customer refuses delivery without prior written authorization.
  • The customer provides an incorrect or incomplete shipping address.
  • Customs authorities delay or hold the shipment.
  • Import duties, taxes, or customs fees are not paid by the customer.
  • The product shows signs of use, modification, accidental damage, misuse, or improper handling.
  • The customer returns the product without prior authorization from BM Lightsabers.

 

Returns Prior to Refund

If a refund request is approved, the customer must first return the product to the return address provided by BM Lightsabers.

Refunds will not be processed until:

  • The returned item has been received.
  • The product has been inspected.
  • The return is approved following inspection.

 

Payment Gateway Fees

Payment processing fees charged by payment gateways, banks, card networks, or payment service providers are non-refundable.

Where permitted by applicable law and your payment provider's rules, any approved refund may be reduced by non-recoverable payment processing fees incurred by BM Lightsabers.

 

Shipping Charges

Return Eligibility

These conditions do not qualify for return, replacement, or refund.

 

Product Condition Requirements

Important: To help us resolve your request as quickly as possible, we strongly recommend recording a continuous, unedited video while opening your package for the first time. This video can help verify the condition of the shipment, confirm package contents, and speed up the review of any claims involving missing items, incorrect products, or shipping damage.

This is customer-friendly while also providing valuable evidence if a dispute arises.

Order Cancellation Policy

At BM Lightsabers, many of our products are individually assembled, configured, quality-tested, and prepared specifically for each customer after an order is placed. For this reason, order cancellations are subject to the terms outlined below.

By placing an order on our website, you acknowledge and agree to this Order Cancellation Policy.

Cancellation Request Before Production

Customers may request to cancel an order before production or order processing has begun.

Cancellation requests must be submitted by email to support@bmlightsabers.com as soon as possible after placing the order.

Submitting a cancellation request does not guarantee that the order can be canceled.

Orders Already in Production

Once production, assembly, quality testing, configuration, personalization, engraving, or packaging has begun, the order is considered in production.

Orders that have entered production are generally not eligible for cancellation, as materials, labor, and manufacturing resources have already been committed.

 

Orders Already Shipped

Once an order has been shipped and a tracking number has been issued, the order cannot be cancelled.

If the customer no longer wishes to keep the product after shipment, any return request will be handled in accordance with BM Lightsabers' Return Eligibility and Refund Policies.

 

Customized & Personalized Orders

The following orders are considered custom-made and generally cannot be canceled once production has started:

  • Personalized engraving
  • Special-order products
  • Custom electronics configurations
  • Custom blade lengths
  • Custom finishes
  • Limited edition products
  • Products manufactured specifically for the customer

These items are produced specifically for the individual order and cannot be resold as new inventory.

 

Cancellation Due to Shipping Delays

Estimated delivery dates are provided as estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

Orders cannot be canceled solely because delivery is delayed due to:

  • International shipping delays
  • Customs inspections
  • Airline or transportation delays
  • Weather conditions
  • Public holidays
  • Courier backlogs
  • Government inspections
  • Events beyond BM Lightsabers' reasonable control

Customers are encouraged to place orders well in advance of birthdays, holidays, conventions, cosplay events, competitions, or any other time-sensitive occasions.

 

Gift Orders

BM Lightsabers is not responsible if an order does not arrive before a birthday, anniversary, holiday, convention, cosplay event, wedding, or any other special occasion.

Gift-related scheduling changes do not qualify as a valid reason for cancellation after production has started or after the order has been shipped.

 

Refusal to Accept Delivery

Customers should not refuse delivery as a method of canceling an order.

If a shipment is refused without prior written authorization from BM Lightsabers:

  • Return shipping charges may be deducted from any eligible refund.
  • Customs charges, duties, taxes, and carrier fees may also be deducted where applicable.
  • Any non-recoverable payment processing fees may also be deducted from an approved refund, where permitted by applicable law.
  • If the shipment is abandoned, destroyed, or cannot be returned by the carrier, the order may become ineligible for a refund.

 

Fraudulent Cancellation Requests

BM Lightsabers reserves the right to refuse cancellation requests where there is reasonable evidence of:

  • Fraudulent activity.
  • Chargeback abuse.
  • Repeated order cancellations.
  • Attempts to obtain products without payment.
  • Misrepresentation of facts.
  • Abuse of promotional offers or discount programs.

Orders identified as high-risk may also be canceled by BM Lightsabers before shipment.

Payment Processing Fees

Shipping Carrier Delays

After a shipment has been accepted by the carrier, BM Lightsabers relies on the carrier's transportation network to complete delivery.

Delays caused by the shipping carrier, including operational backlogs, routing changes, weather, or staffing shortages, are outside the control of BM Lightsabers.

Such delays do not make an order eligible for cancellation or refund.

 

Customer Cooperation

If additional information is requested by the shipping carrier or customs authorities to complete delivery, customers are responsible for responding promptly.

Temporary pauses in tracking updates do not necessarily indicate that the shipment has been lost.

BM Lightsabers' Responsibility

BM Lightsabers fulfills its shipping responsibility when the order has been:

  • Successfully manufactured or prepared.
  • Inspected for quality.
  • Properly packaged.
  • Handed over to the selected shipping carrier.

After the shipment has been transferred to the carrier, delivery is subject to the carrier's transportation process and applicable customs procedures.

Claims for packages marked as delivered may require additional documentation, including but not limited to:

BM Lightsabers reserves the right to rely on carrier delivery records when evaluating such claims.

 

Incorrect Shipping Address

BM Lightsabers is not responsible for packages that cannot be delivered due to:

  • Incorrect postal code.
  • Incorrect apartment or suite number.
  • Missing address information.
  • Incorrect recipient name.

Any additional shipping charges resulting from incorrect address information shall be the customer's responsibility.

 

Refused or Abandoned Shipments
